Despite a lower cost, every session is carefully styled and each photo is a work of art, gently edited to ensure that quality remains the priority.

Newborn minis

This session is limited to one hour. It includes family photos, one styled prop(if desired - we can do an all natural session without props if that is what you prefer) and baby posed on the beanbag. The number of poses we get depends on baby on the day. If baby is awake they will be wrapped for the prop shots and the blanket shots - hopefully unwrapped during the blanket shots as they should be asleep by then.

The newborn mini session costs $299 and includes 10 edited digitals of your choice, which you will choose after your session.

You will have the option to purchase more images if desired.

I will send you a questionnaire so that you can tell me what colour family and prop you would like for your session. I try to get as much information as possible to ensure that we are ready to go for the session as one hour is not long. I also provide a preparation guide for you so that you know what to expect on the day.

This session can take place at your home, in which case it will be a lifestyle type session without a prop included. Included travel distance is between Dunedin and Balclutha.

Family photos are included in every session

Baby can be anything from 4 days to 6 weeks old for their newborn session, even a bit older if necessary. Older babies won't be as sleepy as brand new babies, but we always get beautiful photos.

I provide everything we will need and you are welcome to bring special items from home.

The studio is self-contained, warm and well equipped.

Baby decides what images we will get, I've been photographing babies professionally for nine years,  have been trained in newborn safety and I listen to baby's needs when posing them.
